Job requirements:

Degree in Chinese Language, Translation or related disciplines
At least 2 years full-time working experience in Chinese editorial OR English to Chinese translation work, including 1 year of cultural-related working experience in editorial/translation is preferred
Experience in managing graphic design and production requirements and the ability to follow through the entire procedure for the production of books
Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
Good knowledge in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Access
Proficiency in Chinese and English data entry

Responsibilities:

To edit the Chinese texts of the publications including fact checking and research
To write up Chinese texts for the publications and translate articles mainly from English to Chinese
To proofread Chinese articles contributed by freelance writers and translators engaged
To compile and manage the databases for information on films
To support the production of all publications and perform any other related duties assigned
