We are currently seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Dancer/Show Operations in Shenzhen, China. As a Dancer/Show Operations, you will play a key role in the coordination and execution of dance performances and show operations, ensuring a seamless and captivating experience for our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dance routines and choreography as part of live shows and performances, captivating the audience with your skills and stage presence.
- Rehearse regularly to maintain proficiency in dance techniques and synchronize movements with fellow dancers.
- Collaborate with choreographers, directors, and other production team members to ensure the smooth flow and execution of dance performances.
- Assist in the development and creation of new dance routines, incorporating innovative moves and concepts.
- Coordinate costume changes and ensure all dancers are properly attired for each performance.
- Assist with stage set-up, including props, lighting, and sound equipment, ensuring everything is in place and functioning correctly before each show.
- Communicate effectively with backstage crew, including stage managers, technicians, and costume designers, to ensure smooth transitions and timely cues during performances.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to performance schedules and timelines.
- Participate in pre-show meetings and production rehearsals to review show details and address any concerns or adjustments.
- Assist in training new dancers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a professional dancer, preferably in live shows, theater productions, or entertainment venues.
- Proficiency in various dance styles, including but not limited to contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, or ballet.
- Excellent dance technique, stage presence, and ability to captivate an audience.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with choreographers, directors, and production team members.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes and adjust dance routines as required.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as shows and performances often take place during these times.
- Physical fitness, stamina, and endurance to perform multiple dance routines in a high-energy environment.
- Basic proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is preferred.
- Experience with show operations, including stage set-up and coordination, is a plus.
- A positive and professional attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional performances.
