We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Elementary Coordinator to join our educational team in Tianjin, China. As an Elementary Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the elementary curriculum, providing support to teachers, and fostering the academic and social development of elementary students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging elementary curriculum that aligns with educational standards and objectives.
  2. Collaborate closely with elementary teachers to plan and deliver high-quality instruction, offering guidance, resources, and support as required.
  3. Regularly observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to teachers, fostering continuous improvement in teaching practices.
  4. Assist teachers in implementing differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of elementary students.
  5. Stay abreast of current developments and best practices in elementary education, integrating innovative ideas, methodologies, and resources into the curriculum.
  6. Coordinate and organize school-wide events, programs, and initiatives that enhance the educational experience and promote a positive school culture.
  7. Foster a collaborative and professional learning community among elementary teachers, facilitating regular meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
  8. Support the selection and acquisition of instructional materials, resources, and technology tools, ensuring their effective utilization in the classroom.
  9. Collaborate with school leadership and other coordinators to develop cross-curricular projects, fostering a holistic approach to education.
  10. Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and the wider community, fostering partnerships that support students' overall development.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  2. Prior experience as an elementary teacher, along with a leadership or coordination role in elementary education.
  3. Thorough understanding of elementary curriculum standards, pedagogical approaches, and best practices in instruction.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, parents, and the wider community.
  5. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a cohesive and engaging elementary curriculum that meets educational standards.
  6. In-depth knowledge of current educational trends, including inquiry-based learning, differentiation, and technology integration.
  7. Proven ability to provide instructional support, feedback, and mentoring to elementary teachers.
  8. Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage school-wide events, programs, and initiatives successfully.
  9. Proficiency in English is preferred, along with fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
  10. Valid teaching certification or license is required.
