Kindergarten Teacher. Changsha. Full-time

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English teacher to join our kindergarten team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing age-appropriate English language lessons that will help young learners develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and effective English language lessons that align with the kindergarten curriculum.

• Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to keep students engaged and motivated.

• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that promotes learning and positive behavior.

• Use assessment tools to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

• Participate in school-wide events and activities as required.

• Attend professional development workshops and training sessions to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

• Teaching certification or license.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English to young learners.

• Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in teaching young children.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians.

• Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude.

Working Conditions:

The Kindergarten English Teacher will work in a classroom setting with young learners aged 3-5 years old. The position is full-time and may require some additional hours for lesson planning, grading, and attending school events. The teacher will report directly to the school principal.
