We are seeking a skilled and passionate Maths Teacher to join our educational institution in Changsha, China. As a Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring students, fostering their mathematical understanding, and preparing them for academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive maths lessons to students, catering to their individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for mathematics.
  • Teach various mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus, using a variety of instructional strategies and resources.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to promote growth and improvement.
  • Utilize technology and educational tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences in the classroom.
  • Identify and address individual student learning gaps, providing additional support and differentiated instruction as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and promote cross-curricular connections.
  • Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and assessments.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regularly, sharing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Stay updated with current educational practices and trends in mathematics instruction, continuously seeking professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant teaching certification or qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics to students at the middle school or high school level.
  • In-depth knowledge of mathematics curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
  • Strong passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire and engage students in the subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to implement innovative teaching methods.
  • Fluency in English is preferred, as it facilitates effective communication with students and colleagues.
