Music Teacher (Grades 1-5). Zhengzhou. Full-time

 As a Music teacher for Grades 1-5 in Zhengzhou City, China, your primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality music education to students. You will nurture their love for music, develop their musical skills, and foster creativity and appreciation for various genres. This position is typically in a primary or international school setting.

 Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum for Grades 1-5.
• Teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, melody, harmony, and instrumental skills.
• Lead vocal exercises, teach proper singing techniques, and guide students in performing songs.
• Cultivate students' appreciation for different musical styles and traditions.
• Organize rehearsals and prepare students for performances.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate or participate in extracurricular music activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support the music program.

 Qualifications:

• Hold a degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field.
• Teaching experience, particularly with elementary students, is desirable.
• Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument, such as piano or guitar.
• Strong understanding of music pedagogy and effective instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for music and teaching.
