 We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Secondary Design Technology Teaching Assistant to join our educational institution in Suzhou City, China. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Design Technology department and enhancing the learning experience for secondary students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Design Technology teacher in delivering lessons and practical activities.
• Setting up and maintaining equipment and materials for practical sessions.
• Providing individual and small group support to students during class.
• Offering guidance and feedback to students on their design projects and assignments.
• Supervising students during practical work to ensure safety and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Assisting in the preparation and organization of design workshops and exhibitions.
• Collaborating with the Design Technology teacher to develop and improve instructional materials and resources.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, maintaining records, and providing feedback to the teacher.
• Promoting creativity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking in students' design projects.
• Assisting in the maintenance and organization of the Design Technology workshop and resources.

 Qualifications:

• Relevant educational background or experience in Design Technology or a related field.
• Experience working with secondary students, preferably in a teaching assistant or similar role.
• Knowledge of design principles, tools, and materials commonly used in Design Technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
