We are seeking a talented and passionate University Art Teacher to join our esteemed arts department at a university in Wuhan City. As an Art Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the artistic abilities and creative thinking of our students. Your expertise and guidance will help shape a new generation of aspiring artists and provide them with a solid foundation in various art disciplines.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development: Design and develop a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the university's art program objectives and emphasizes artistic theory, art history, and practical skills.

 

2. Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, demonstrations, and workshops to undergraduate students in various art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media.

 

3. Critique and Feedback: Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their artworks, helping them refine their techniques, conceptual ideas, and artistic expression.

 

4. Portfolio Development: Assist students in building strong portfolios for further academic pursuits or professional careers in the arts.

 

5. Mentoring and Support: Act as a mentor and advisor to students, providing guidance on career paths, exhibitions, and opportunities within the art industry.

 

Requirements:

1. Master's or Ph.D. degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field.

 

2. Significant experience in teaching art at the university level, preferably with a focus on contemporary art practices.

 

3. In-depth knowledge of art history, art theory, and current artistic trends.

 

4. Proficiency in various art media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media.

 

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, faculty, and staff.

 

6. Demonstrated ability to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and artistic exploration among students.
